Mediation

Inside of every conflict there is a window of opportunity to mediate a lasting solution. 

Mediation offers the opportunity to resolve issues without court intervention. Even in the most polarized of situations, successful mediation is possible and has proven itself to be both financially and emotionally beneficial for the long-term health of families and the divorcing couple.

Over the years I have successfully guided many family law mediations with divorcing couples along with negotiating successful in-court settlements. I offer the following qualities which are essential to mediation:

• Staying optimistically focused.
• Being able to distinguish between real problems and real interests versus stated positions and false interests.
• The ability to gently guide the parties rather than force an issue.
