Here are a few examples of cases I have successfully resolved:

My client was living in an apartment infested by rats. The landlord would do nothing to correct the despicable conditions and so I sued the landlord for violating the “warranty of habitability.”
Result: Client ended up with a sizeable payout from the landlord's insurer.

I enforced a secured real estate transaction note which had been in arrears for years. The lender previously had not been able to collect any funds. I prevailed upon the debtor to cooperate in order to avoid litigation, and I handled the re-conveyance and other details.
Result: The transaction was successfully concluded without having to go to court. In general, I try to work out an agreement with the other party before initiating litigation.

My client sold his home and was then sued by the buyers for alleged nondisclosure of information affecting the value of the property. I felt the claim was frivolous, had no sound basis in law or fact, and advised my client not to honor the buyer’s demand.
Result: The case ended with the seller not having to pay anything.
